Karin came on board as a Practice Manager in 2015, finding a common vision and philosophy with practice owner and veterinarian, David Frantz, D.V.M. Karin has worked in the veterinary industry for more than decade. She is applying her experience, knowledge, and skill set to not only improve her value to the practice but also improve the practice as well. She finds the pursuit of these goals to be challenging and rewarding.
In addition to her duties as a practice manager, Karin has been a board member of New Jersey Veterinary Hospital Managers Association since 2013. There, Karin has embraced the opportunity to work side by side with fellow members in an effort to discover new challenges, develop important industry contacts, and continue to pursue valuable continuing education.
Outside the office Karin lives with her partner Kevin, a special needs cat, Ruskin, and African Grey Parrot, Winnie. She loves music, going to concerts and jogging the back roads by her home.
Theresa (Tami) Eddy
As Fanwood Animal Hospital’s full-time receptionist, Tami feels truly fortunate to be able to build personal relationships with clients and their pets since joining the team in 1996. A busy grandmother, Tami is devoted to her children and beautiful grandchildren, spending time with them whenever possible. You may find Tami gardening, listening to music and reading suspense novels. Her family is joined by Rock, a Rottweiler rescue; and eight mischievous cats.
Sue is a welcomed addition to our team in 2014. Sue enjoys meeting clients and their furry family members and is in awe of their unconditional love. In her spare time she loves the beach, gardening, baking and spending time with friends and family. Her family consists of a husband, 2 children, Thomas and Meredith, a cat named, Tiger, 2 parakeets, Tiger and Snowball. She will travel anywhere for good ice cream!
Barbara has been a part time receptionist at FAH since 2007. She retired from her full time job as a speech pathologist in 2014. Barbara lives in Edison with Domino, her Dachshund/Border Collie Mix, a roommate and step dog Nikki, a Silky Terrier. Barbara plans on enjoying retirement by eventually eliminating bits and pieces off her bucket list, as she maneuvers around an already busy schedule.
Sue has been a part-time receptionist at FAH since 2012. She loves to interact with FAH’s clients and furry patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at home with her family and friends. She is a proud grandmother to her grandson, Jax, and she has two cats, Max and Stinky.
Joining Fanwood Animal Hospital team in 1998, Dawn loves the family atmosphere and dedication to veterinary care shown by the doctors and fellow staff members. She enjoys getting to know all of the pets and pet parents over the years. Dawn owns a Shih Tzu, named Dee-Dee, who comes to the office everyday and is a part of the FAH family. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Erick and son, Nolan. She also has a cat named Oliver.
Jackie has been an important member of our team since 2005. She enjoys her position at Fanwood Animal Hospital, appreciating the personalized care we provide to every one of our patients. Jackie feels blessed to be able to spend her days with her amazing coworkers, lovable pets and a wonderful family. She is married to Sean and has a son, Tyler, the light of her life. Jackie is the proud owner of 3 cats, Roxy, Buddy and Punch.
With years of animal experience in boarding, grooming, breeding, showing and more than seven years experience in the veterinary field, Alex is an animal lover and has been a Fanwood veterinary technician since 2008. Alex thrives doing the dynamic, challenging work necessary to keep pets healthy and happy, enjoying the Fanwood staff’s precise attention to individual care and commitment to clinical excellence. In his free time Alex is talented photographer, and loves camping and hiking with his dog.
Lindsay joined the FAH team as a veterinary technician in December 2015. She has been passionate about animals ever since she was very young. She loves meeting clients and, of course, their furry friends. During her free time, she likes to ride her horse and spend time with friends and family. Lindsay owns two young golden retrievers, Penny and Winnie, and a thoroughbred horse named Piper.
